Ziploc Omelets

This works great!!! Good for when you're alone or when all your family is together. Great for camping or a sleepover breakfast. The best feature is that no one has to wait for their special omelet. Have the guests write their name on a Quart Size Ziploc Freezer Bag with a permanent marker.

1. Crack 2 eggs into the quart size Ziploc bag (not more than 2) shake to combine them.

2. Put out a variety of ingredients such as: Cheeses, Ham, Onions, Green Peppers, Tomatoes, Hash Browns, Salsa, Etc.

3. Each guest adds prepared ingredients of choice to their bag and shake the bag to mix them well.

4. Make sure to get the air out of the bag and zip it up.
5. Place the bags into rolling, boiling water for exactly 13 minutes. You can usually cook 6-8 omelets in a large pot. If you have more omelets, make another pot of boiling water.

6. Cut the bags and the omelet will roll out easily. Be prepared for everyone to be amazed.

7. Nice to serve with fresh fruit and coffee cake; everyone gets involved in the process and it becomes a great conversation piece.

Imagine having these ready the night before, and putting the bag in boiling water while you get ready. And in just 13 minutes you have a nice omelet for a quick breakfast

Think About Him Today!

My morning devotions had me seeking and turning pages today! I want to quote two more scriptures that really blessed me this morning:

Jude 24-25 (such a tiny book with big encouragement): "To Him who is able to keep you from falling and to present you before his glorious presence without fault and with great joy— to the only God our Savior be glory, majesty, power and authority, through Jesus Christ our Lord, before all ages, now and forevermore! Amen. (Say this one out loud a few times and boy you might just feel a little stronger!)

2 Corinthians 4:16-17
"Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all."

Ok, now for what Jesus said when He called this morning in my morning devotions: an excerpt from "Jesus Calling" by Sarah Young

"Stay calmly conscious of Me today, no matter what. Remember that I go before you as well as with you into the day. Nothing takes Me by surprise. I will not allow circumstances to overwhelm you, so long as you look to Me. I will help you cope with whatever the moment presents. Collaborating with Me brings blessings that far outweigh all your troubles. Awareness of My presence contains Joy that can endure all eventualities."

I encourage all of us to stay calmly conscious of Him today. Let's just see how it affects the outcome of our day. I love that all He really desires is to be close to us. We are women, that is really all we desire too, relationships! Let us know how your day was today!

R.A.P.- It's More Than Your Kids Music Choice

Remember the R.A.P. method to help you journal:Read it, Apply it, Pray it. First, select a scripture for the day; it could be the topic of a daily devotional, written on the bottom of the page in the Flavour Journal, or just one that happens to come to mind. Write the verse out in your journal. Read the verse over a few times and think about how that verse applies to you. Then, pray that God reveals His knowledge in how that verse can be lived out. Pray for specific personal needs and the needs of friends and family. End by yielding to God and pray that you only want His will for your life. Then... be quiet so he can speak through His Spirit to your heart.
